Sable & Hogg Gallery is an art gallery and framing business in the heart of Brecon and holds a range of paintings in oils, acrylics, watercolour and pastels, limited edition prints and photographs from artists around Wales and a few from further across the UK. The thing that unites these artists is their love of landscape and nature. If you are in the Brecon Beacons do call in and we hope you will find something to take home to remind you of your visit. We also offer bespoke framing services and can frame all manner of items.

We are open five days a week Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm. Public Holiday opening hours are shown on the homepage as appropriate.

You can contact us through the website or by telephone and we look forward to hearing from you.

Our Story

Sable & Hogg Gallery was established in the late 1970s by two local artists and has continued under the same name through a few locations from London to North Wales and most recently Brecon. Paul and Ella Millis ran the Gallery from 2002 until July 2019 when Paul decided to retire and concentrate on his painting. The current owner, Cathy Arnold, is an art enthusiast, architect, amateur photographer and one time director at London’s National Portrait Gallery. She continues to offer the art and framing services that have always been offered at Sable & Hogg and is developing the online offer for those who are not close enough to visit, but would like to own an artwork by one of the Gallery’s artists.
